So Happy Together

Evan and Olivia have started to enjoy more time with each other. Evan always asks to hold her. I think he's realized that she's here to stay! Olivia is becoming more interactive each day. She talks just to get attention and increases the volume it you don't acknowledge her! Daddy says she gets this from me! She's a mess! I can't believe she is 6 months old! She is going to be my tall one measuring 28 3/4 inches and weighing 19 lbs. She's ready for her big girl car seat, but loves to sit backwards so she can talk to bubby! Evan gets really excited when Olivia learns a new task! It fun to watch them grow together, but way too fast!

Meet Emma

LOOK WHAT FOUND US!!

On Tuesday I was driving to the store (on a back road near our church) and saw an object in the field. I soon noticed it was a lost Welsh Corgi (possible mix) dog. She would not leave me alone and jumped in the van when I stopped! I was afraid she'd get hit and I wanted to help her find her home (no luck yet..........I think she may have found a new home)! We took her to get scanned for a chip, but no luck and only one call since the add in the paper.

Evan wasn't sure of her at first, but now he can't wait to play "catch" with her. She loves to fetch anything you throw and is great with kids! Evan wanted to name her EMMA CAROLINE after the two girls in his class! I think that's so sweet of him:) He sits by them and talks about them all the time. If Emma's owner is not found we will adopt her and let her live outside during the day and in the garage at night. She brings back memories for Kirk as he had a Welsh Corgi named Susie as a child! I know we're suckers for animals, but she's a good one and listens way better than good old Gretchen!! Corgi's are fairly easy to train so that's a plus! Hope you can all meet Emma soon!

Olivia's Dedication

On Sunday March 15 we dedicated Olivia to the Lord. She shared this special day with both sets of grandparents and her great aunt and uncle. Evan a great big brother as we stood up in front of the congregation. Olivia smiled as always and Pastor Keith called her a "little ham!" She is such a blessing and we're thankful to have family, friends and an awesome church family to walk with us on the journey of raising our children to know and love the Lord!
