Here are a few more pictures from Easter!

Pretty Flowers

Easter 2010

This year we celebrated Easter at Grammy and Papaw's house in Poseyville. Papaw had a great surprise for all the kids....a new playground! They all had a blast playing and enjoying the nice weather. It was great seeing everyone and having all the grandkids hunt eggs together. We're so blessed with wonderful family! Hope your spring blooms with happiness!

Our Little Wrestler

Yep...Evan has started wrestling! Kirk takes him on Tuesdays & Thursdays to the high school wrestling room to work out and learn wrestling techniques. They both really enjoy the time together, but I'm not sure who likes it more, Evan or Daddy! Evan is in the free-style wrestling class, but we don't plan on letting him compete. We feel that he needs to have a little more experience and make that decision on his own. They both really get a work out and come home exhausted! Evan was complaining that his legs were sore for a few days! It's also a great form of discipline for kids. He is learning to respect his coach and team mates! We told him that we'd allow him to sign up, but that he is to finish the course and do his best. That's all we can ask of him! With Daddy co-coaching, I'm sure he'll do great! It's fun watching them share in the same interests....I love my boys!

Playing Dress Up

Olivia really enjoys playing dress up! She loves going through her closet trying on shoes...wonder where she get that?! She often pushes her doll stroller around the house while dressed up! I ask her if she's going shopping and she says, "Yep!" She really enjoys music and will dance at the sound of any tune or noise. She dances when my coffee pot timer goes off...she's such a hoot! We are so amazed at her understanding....it seems that she is older than she is because she understands what we say! She'll keep us busy this summer as she chases Emma (our dog) around the yard! It's hard to believe that she'll be 1 1/2 years old this month...wow!

These Boots Were Made For Walkin'

We dressed Olivia up in Daddy's boots and hat from when he was a little boy! She was so excited and loved the boots....even though they were way to big for her! We also got out one of Daddy's old airplanes for the kids to play with! They always enjoy playing with our "old" toys!

Tub Fun!

Splish, Splash I was takin' a bath! The kids love taking a bath in our "big" tubby! Of course little Miss Olivia wasn't going to miss out on this chance to make a mess! It's so fun to hear them laugh and enjoy eachothers company...even though at times the laughter turns to tears as we all have to go home:( We try to make the best of the time we have together! They are all such a joy!

Fun at Chuck-E-Cheese

Evan, Olivia, Isaac and Jacob had a great time celebrating Evan's birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese! It was nice to go during the week to avoid the crowd! Olivia had a great time watching the boys show her how to play ski ball and tear off the tickets! As you can see, they all wore their Colts attire! I think this picture turned out well and wanted to share the memory with you!

Happy 5th Birthday Evan!

I guess it's better late than never to post a picture of Evan's 5th birthday! He had a great time celebrating with family and friends! It's so nice to have parties at our church so that the kids can run around and burn off some energy! Since we're stuck in doors in January on his birthday, we try to do something fun! Evan invited the kids from his preschool class! This was the first time he's invited the entire class...all nine of them! They enjoyed jumping up and down in the bounce house and taking turns at the "transformer" pinata! We all wore transformer masks to set the mood! It's so hard to believe that I was holding Evan in my arms in the hospital 5 years ago and soon we'll be holding his hands walking to kindergarten! He's such a blessing to our family....We love you Evan!!

In Pendleton We Can Build A Snowman......

Kirk, Evan and Emma enjoyed playing the snow last week! They made this nice snowman with a carrot nose and all! Needless to say, Emma ate the carrot right off of the snowman's face! She later destroyed the snowman in an attempt to find one of her chew toys that was buried under the snowman! Opps!
Today we woke to more snow on the ground, but Evan still had school! It's much different living in Central Indiana rather than Southern! They have equipment to clear the roads and rarely close school here! Evan wants to try to build another snowman after school. Daddy said that he had to wait and see what the weather is due to the frigid temps! We already have about 4 inches and are expecting more! Hope everyone is staying warm this winter season! Here's to a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate...cheers!

Super Papaw

We spent New Year's weekend celebrating with Grammy and Papaw in Poseyville. We got Papaw a "Superman" shirt along with gloves and a hat (mom got him a snow blower) to use this winter season. The shirt is because he's been doing such a "Super" job recovering from his double knee replacement! We're so proud of you, Papaw! Keep up the good work!

Good Times!

Here are a few pictures of our holiday fun times!

The kids had a great time with Isaac and Jacob the day after Christmas!
Evan loved decorating the cookies for Santa...and eating the icing:)
Mamaw and Papaw loved the rock that we got them!
Evan and Olivia opened the fireplace doors for Santa:)
Relaxing in the chairs they got from Kirk's parents....just chillin'!

Holiday Greetings!

We hope you all had a wonderful CHRISTmas and a blessed new year! We've been busy celebrating with family and friends! We started the weekend prior to Christmas in Terre Haute with Kirk's side of the family and finished celebrating last weekend in Poseyville with Grammy and Papaw! Evan and Olivia had a wonderful Christmas and Santa brought them everything they ever dreamed of! Evan said, "This is the most awesomest Christmas ever!" He really enjoyed all of his gifts. Olivia was more interested in the bows and gift wrap, but she adored her dolls! She pushes them everywhere and feeds them with a bottle!

Christmas Eve Evan and I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks! We had a great time! Kirk stayed home with Olivia and cleaned out the chimney, per Evan's request, so that Santa's suit wouldn't get dirty!

We had fun decorating cookies for Santa and sleeping in our new PJ's as we anxiously waited for Santa. Much to our suprise, Evan was awake at 5:30 am to tell us that we had gifts under the tree and our stocking were full of goodies! We told him that we needed to wait for Livi to wake and patiently went back to his room to wait....he must have fallen back to sleep because, at 8:30 am he ran back into our room to tell us that Livi was awake. He went into her room to tell her that Santa came to our house!

We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season full of precious memories and that 2010 will fill your hearts with joy!
