In Pendleton We Can Build A Snowman......

Kirk, Evan and Emma enjoyed playing the snow last week! They made this nice snowman with a carrot nose and all! Needless to say, Emma ate the carrot right off of the snowman's face! She later destroyed the snowman in an attempt to find one of her chew toys that was buried under the snowman! Opps!
Today we woke to more snow on the ground, but Evan still had school! It's much different living in Central Indiana rather than Southern! They have equipment to clear the roads and rarely close school here! Evan wants to try to build another snowman after school. Daddy said that he had to wait and see what the weather is due to the frigid temps! We already have about 4 inches and are expecting more! Hope everyone is staying warm this winter season! Here's to a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate...cheers!

Super Papaw

We spent New Year's weekend celebrating with Grammy and Papaw in Poseyville. We got Papaw a "Superman" shirt along with gloves and a hat (mom got him a snow blower) to use this winter season. The shirt is because he's been doing such a "Super" job recovering from his double knee replacement! We're so proud of you, Papaw! Keep up the good work!

Good Times!

Here are a few pictures of our holiday fun times!

The kids had a great time with Isaac and Jacob the day after Christmas!
Evan loved decorating the cookies for Santa...and eating the icing:)
Mamaw and Papaw loved the rock that we got them!
Evan and Olivia opened the fireplace doors for Santa:)
Relaxing in the chairs they got from Kirk's parents....just chillin'!

Holiday Greetings!

We hope you all had a wonderful CHRISTmas and a blessed new year! We've been busy celebrating with family and friends! We started the weekend prior to Christmas in Terre Haute with Kirk's side of the family and finished celebrating last weekend in Poseyville with Grammy and Papaw! Evan and Olivia had a wonderful Christmas and Santa brought them everything they ever dreamed of! Evan said, "This is the most awesomest Christmas ever!" He really enjoyed all of his gifts. Olivia was more interested in the bows and gift wrap, but she adored her dolls! She pushes them everywhere and feeds them with a bottle!

Christmas Eve Evan and I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks! We had a great time! Kirk stayed home with Olivia and cleaned out the chimney, per Evan's request, so that Santa's suit wouldn't get dirty!

We had fun decorating cookies for Santa and sleeping in our new PJ's as we anxiously waited for Santa. Much to our suprise, Evan was awake at 5:30 am to tell us that we had gifts under the tree and our stocking were full of goodies! We told him that we needed to wait for Livi to wake and patiently went back to his room to wait....he must have fallen back to sleep because, at 8:30 am he ran back into our room to tell us that Livi was awake. He went into her room to tell her that Santa came to our house!

We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season full of precious memories and that 2010 will fill your hearts with joy!
